When your Facebook Ad account spending limit is reached, your ads are paused, and you stop spending money. To resume your ads, you can reset, change, or remove the spending limit set in your ad account by following the steps below:
IMPORTANT: You can only do this on your Facebook Ads Manager. You need access to your Facebook account and Facebook Ad account connected to your Listings-to-Leads Ads tab.
To Reset your Spending Limit amount:
- Click here to go to your Payment Settings in your Facebook ad account.
- Scroll down until you see the Account Spending Limit section, click the 3-dot icon.
- Click Reset.
NOTE: The amount spent toward your account spending limit will reset to $0 in about 15 minutes. Then, your ads start running again.
To Change your Spending Limit amount:
- Click here to go to your Payment Settings.
- In the Account Spending Limit section, click the 3-dot icon.
- Click Change.
- Enter a new spending limit.
- Click Save.
- Click Done to confirm the new account spending limit.
NOTE: Your account spending limit is updated in about 15 minutes. Then, your ads start running again. The amount you've already spent toward your limit is applied to your new spending limit.
To Remove your Spending Limit amount:
- Go to your Payment Settings.
- In the Account Spending Limit section, click the 3-dot icon.
- Click Remove.
NOTE: Your account spending limit will be removed in about 15 minutes. Then, your ads will start running again. The spending limit is not linked to your Ads budget; it is a limit you set up in your Ad Account.
