You can now create your Custom Lead ads for Facebook & Instagram, to know more read the steps below:
- Go to Ads.
- Click on Create Facebook Ad > Create Custom Ad.
- Add a name to the Campaign.
- Choose Lead Ads as your marketing goal.
- Assign a Lead Type to your ad.
- Click on 'Create Ad'
In the Ad Creation section, you need to:
A) Website
- Website/Landing Page URL: Add the URL you are going to use in your ad
- Call to Action: this is the button that motivates people to click on your ad, you have four different options you can select from.
B) Ad Copy
- Primary Text: this is the key text in your ad, keep it simple.
- Headline: it shouldn't be too long, helps you to grab the attention of people.
- Description: This should be a summary of the service or what you are offering and complement both the primary text and headline.
C) Location
- Target: modify who you want to target in the selected location.
- Location: Enter the city, county, or region you want to target. Please know per Facebook policies you cannot target Zip Codes.
D) Budget
- Type of budget: you can choose between a lifetime or daily budget, keep in mind if you select daily the ad will try to spend the amount entered in a day. If you select lifetime budget the ad will try to spend the amount entered from the start to the end date.
- Amount: is the amount of money you want to spend for the ad, the minimum per day is 5 USD, per Facebook suggestions
E) Schedule
- Start Date: this is the date and time the campaign will start in
- End Date: this is the date and time the ad will end.
F) Change Image / Video
- Allows you to change the media used in your ad, you can select an image or a video from your own library.
NOTE: You can now 'Publish' the ad, but if you want to modify more options, keep reading below!
G) Create New Form
- We create a form automatically that includes name, email, and phone form fields. However, if you want to modify it, you can always click on this button to add more form questions.
H) Re-target Current Leads
- You can always re-target past leads from a custom audience to know more about this click here.
I) Activate Autoresponder
- You can turn ON an email Autoresponder that gets sent out to the lead once they fill out the Lead Ad Form.
J) Advanced Options
- If you need to modify other things such as interest, placements, and more you can turn ON the advanced options of the ad, here you can:
- Enter Real estate-like interests in the Interests section. These can help you to narrow your Target audience.
- If you have more than one Facebook page, you can change it in the Pages panel
- You can choose where you want your ads to appear in the Placements section. To know about placements click HERE
- You can also add a different Country if you are trying to advertise the ad outside of your default country.
- Make sure you have your pixel code added
- Click on Create Ad once you are done.
