You can now create Video View Ads with your content.
The video views objective allows you to create campaigns that are optimized to get the most plays of a video ad.
To know how to create them please follow the steps below:
- Go to Ads
- Click on Create Facebook Ad > Create Custom Ad
- Assign a name to the campaign.
- Select Video Views.
- Click on 'Create Ad.
- The ad name can be modified, this will be displayed in your Ads Manager

Website/Landing Page URL: Add the URL you are going to use in your ad.
Call to Action: this is the button that motivates people to click on your ad, you have four different options you can select -
Ad Copy
Primary Text: this is the main text in your ad, keep it simple.
Headline: it shouldn't be too long, helps you to grab the attention of people.
Description: This should be a summary of the service or what you are offering and compliments both the primary text and headline.
- Add the Location the ad will target.
- In Budget and Schedule, you can leave the default options or do changes. If you do changes please keep in mind:
Budget
Amount: is the amount of money you want to spend for the ad, the minimum per day is 5 USD, per Facebook suggestions
Type of budget: you can choose between a lifetime or daily budget, keep in mind if you select daily the ad will try to spend the amount entered in a day. If you select lifetime budget the ad will try to spend the amount entered from the start to the end date. -
Schedule:
Start Date: this is the date and time the campaign will start in.
End Date: this is the date and time the ad will end. - Upload the video from your computer files.

That's it! With those steps, your ad has been created successfully!

- You can also turn ON the 'Advanced Options' of your ad.
- Interest: Feel free to enter Real estate-like interests in this section. These can help you to narrow your Target audience.
- Pages: If you have more than one Facebook page, you can change it in the Pages panel.
- Placements: You can choose where you want your ads to appear in the Placements section. To know about placements click HERE.
- Country: You can also add a different Country if you are trying to advertise the ad outside of your default country.
- Pixel: Make sure you have your pixel code added.
