You can always stop an L2L BOT manually if you ever notice that it is not properly or if the lead asks questions the BOT cannot understand. Follow the steps below to learn how to do it:
Scenario #1: You want to stop the BOT for a specific user while on Facebook Messenger:
In case the BOT is not providing correct information or you would like to provide more information and engage with the user, you can definitely do that by stopping the BOT.
Stop the BOT using any of the Keywords below in your responses:
- Let me help you.
- I can help you.
- let me help you
- I can help you
- Let me help you!!
- I can help you!!
🎯 How to send responses to users manually?
Remember that you need to stop the BOT using the keywords above before sending messages to users; otherwise, the BOT will continue sending messages and users may get confused by receiving your messages and messages from the BOT.
Please follow the steps below to learn how to send responses to users:
- Go to your Facebook page and click “Inbox” in the top menu bar.
- Select the conversation that you want to send a manual response to.
- Send a message using the keywords above. You can send any message as long as you add the keywords to any part of the message.
Scenario #2: You want to stop the BOT for all the users:
- Go to Bots on the LEDT navigation bar.
- Locate the BOT that you want to stop.
- Toggle the ON button next to the BOT’s Title to turn the BOT Off for all the users.
- The BOT will change from ON to OFF.
Scenario #3: You want to stop the BOT for a specific user:
- Go to Bots on the left navigation bar.
- Locate the BOT that you want to stop.
- Click the Edit/Pencil button.
- Under the Subscribers tab, you will see all the people that have interacted with your BOT. Locate the user that would like to turn off the BOT for, and
- Toggle the ON button next to the User’s name to turn the BOT Off.
- The button will change from On to Off meaning that the BOT will stop for this specific user. Now, you can interact with this user manually.
