You can add a ChatBot button to any L2L Landing Page like this:
1. Go to the ‘BOTs’ tab.
2. Locate the BOT you want to use and click the ‘Pencil/Edit’ button.
3. Go to the 'Chat Plugin' tab
4. Feel free to edit the ‘Greeting’ message or leave it the way it is.
The Greeting message looks like this, so you edit it as needed:
5. Click the ‘Copy Code to Clipboard’ button and paste it somewhere because we will use this code in the following steps.
6. Finally, click ‘Save’
Now, you can paste the code in a Listing or in a Landing page:
Pasting the code in a Listing:
- Go to the ‘Listings’ tab and then click "Edit"
- Go to the ‘Custom Code‘ and then click "Add Custom Code"
- Add a Title.
- Paste the code you copied in ‘Step 5’.
- Select the Tools where you want to add the BOT.
- Click ‘Save’.
Pasting the code on a Landing Page:
- Go to the ‘Advanced Options’ on the Landing page.
- Go to the ‘Pixel, Tracking & Chat Code’ tab
- Click ‘Add New HTML Widget/Code’ button
- Add a Title.
- Paste the code you copied in ‘Step 5’.
- Select the pages you want to add this BOT to.
- Click ‘Add Code’.
Final Step
Now that the BOT is in your Listing or Landing Page you need to 'Whitelist' the URL or URLs where the BOT is located.
To do so copy the URL for your Listing Tool or the Landing Page URL then follow the instructions below:
1. Go to the ‘BOTs’ tab.
2. Locate the ‘Pencil/Edit' button.
3. Go to the 'Chat Plugin' tab
4. You need to paste the URL or URLs in the 'Whitelisted URLs' box, and click 'Save' once you are done.
You can NOW:
- Test the ChatBOT plugin on the Single Property Website or Listing Landing Page of the listing.
- Test the ChatBOT plugin on the landing page to which you added it.
