π These Custom Audiences can include anyone who watches at least three seconds of any video on your Facebook page. They are easy to create and you can use them to create ads for retargeting and advertise to people who have already watched your videos and shown interest in your services.
Retargeting to the right audience is a must if you want to get more buyer and seller leads from your Facebook ads. The best thing about custom audiences is that you can use them to advertise and show anything that you want to those who are part of it!
Follow the steps below to create a custom video audience:
- Go to your Audience panel by CLICKING HERE
π If you don't have any audiences, you'll see audience creation buttons, rather than dropdowns.
2. If you already have audiences, click the βCreate Audienceβ dropdown menu and select βCustom Audienceβ.
3. Choose βVideoβ.
- Choose an option from the βEngagementβ dropdown menu. We recommend choosing 3 seconds, but feel free to select 10 seconds, 25%, 50%, 75% or 95%.
- Click βChoose videosβ and select the video or videos you want to include to this audience.
- Adjust the number of days people will remain in your audience after they engage with your content. We recommend 365 day, but keep in mind that people will be removed from that audience after a period of time unless they engage with the content again.
- Name your audience.
- Click βCreate Audienceβ.
π― NOTE: Facebook will start matching the information from your videos data with Facebook profiles so that you can create retargeting ads.
