👀 You will need to have a CSV or TXT file already created or you can download a template provided by Facebook here and enter your contact list in there.
🎯We recommend you have more than 1,000 contacts (leads) to create a better audience. If an audience is too small, your ads may not deliver.
Follow the steps below to create a custom audience by uploading a file with leads.
- Go to your Audiences panel by CLICKING HERE
👀 If you don't have any audiences, you'll see audience creation buttons, rather than dropdowns.

2. If you already have audiences, click the ‘Create Audience’ dropdown menu and select ‘Custom Audience’.
3. Choose ‘Customer List’.
- Make sure your contact list matches Facebook's template and click ‘Next’
- Select ‘No’ and click ‘Next’
- Upload the file. Name your audience and finish the wizard.
🎯 NOTE: Facebook will start matching the information from your Leads with Facebook profiles so that you can advertise to your Leads on Facebook, Instagram, and Audience Network.
